About Me

my name is Bob Laine and I am a newcastle artist living in Gosforth.

i am self taught and didn't,t start painting until 2005 although I had an interest in art for many years. I always thought I couldn't,t do it ,i now  believe anyone can paint. They just need the push.

My aim is to create artwork that is not only pleasing to the eye but that anyone can afford

i am inspired by everything around me but old rustic buildings, and landscape/seascape are my preferred subjects. I paint in most mediums but mainly my work is in watercolour or mixed media
